The bathrooms make a statement of their own: designed without a single tile, with smooth plastered surfaces that give each space a calm, modern elegance. Select apartments also feature an infrared sauna – the perfect way to recover after a long day in the mountains.

Kick off your shoes, let your gaze drift from the Isarco Valley to the Dolomite peaks – and decide tomorrow what the day will bring. In summer, hiking trails lead directly from the lodge into the Gitschberg Jochtal alpine region: leisurely alpine walks, panoramic summit hikes or day trips to the Lago di Braies and the Dolomites. Here, the freedom of an individual mountain holiday meets the comfort of a high-quality design apartment. In winter, you clip on your skis right at the lodge – true ski-in/ski-out access to the Gitschberg Jochtal ski area with 44 kilometres of slopes, two ski schools and cosy mountain huts.
To keep packing light, we lend you Osprey backpacks, hiking poles, child carriers, sledges and snowshoes – free of charge, right in the lodge. For everything else, the sports shop on the ground floor has the latest skis, e-bikes and expert advice on hand, without you ever needing to leave. And to make sure the morning starts just right, our fresh bread service delivers the scent of freshly baked South Tyrolean goods directly to your apartment door. Our prices adjust dynamically according to demand and availability, automatically rewarding guests who book in advance. This allows you to secure your preferred dates while benefiting from the most attractive rates.
Longer stays always pay off – giving you more time to relax and more time to make the very most of your stay.
The indicated prices are per day, per apartment, based on standard occupancy. For stays of up to 3 nights, a short stay surcharge applies. Discounts or special offers cannot be combined or accumulated.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy:
- The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 30% of the total stay price.
- In case of cancellation from 60 days before arrival, the deposit will be retained and credited for a future stay within one year.
- In case of cancellation from 30 to 3 days before arrival, 50% of the total stay price will be charged.
- In case of cancellation from 2 days before arrival, late arrival, early departure, or no-show, the full stay price will be charged.
Arrival and departure
Arrival & Check‑in
Our reception is not staffed at all times, therefore we kindly ask you to inform us of your expected arrival time in advance. This allows us to plan your check‑in and welcome you personally.
If you arrive after 8:00 pm, we will try to welcome you in person or arrange a self check‑in. In this case, we look forward to welcoming you at the reception the following morning to complete the check‑in process.
Check‑in: from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Check‑out: by 10:00 am
Late Check‑out
If you wish to request a late check‑out, please let us know in advance. Subject to availability, we are happy to offer this service for an additional fee of € 100.00.
Paying your bill
We kindly ask that you pay your bill either the evening before your departure or during your stay. You can do so by EC card, Visa, or MasterCard, or in cash up to a maximum value of €4.999,99
Allergies
At Mountain Lodge Margit, you decide what to prepare for yourselves in your fully equipped kitchen, so food intolerances won’t be an issue. Please let us know if you are allergic to animal fur. Pets are strictly not permitted in most of our holiday apartments, meaning they are allergy-friendly. Our apartments are thoroughly and hygienically cleaned using advanced dry‑steam technology.
Thanks to the high temperatures, we can almost completely avoid chemical cleaning agents – ensuring a natural, healthy indoor environment and a fresh feeling the moment you arrive.
Pets
On request and for an additional fee, it is possible to bring your pet on holiday with you. Please let us know when making your holiday enquiry if you would like to travel with your four-legged friend. Don’t worry if you are allergic to animal fur: We have certain holiday apartments where pets are never allowed to set paw, meaning they are allergy-friendly.
Smoking
All holiday apartments are non-smoking.
Appartment & Cleaning
During your stay, daily cleaning is not provided. For stays of 7 nights or longer, we carry out an intermediate cleaning including a towel change.
Additional services can be requested: €25.00 for kitchen cleaning, €40.00 for daily cleaning including a towel change, and €15.00 per double bed for a linen change.
The waste room is located at the end of the underground garage in the main building and can be used at any time.
Laundry:
A washing machine and washer-dryer (up to 8 kg) are available on the ground floor, just before the exit to the garage. Use is free of charge; please bring your own detergent.
Before departure, we kindly ask you to prepare the apartment as follows:
– place the dishes in the dishwasher and start it
– dispose of all waste in the designated waste room (sorting information is provided here)
– remove all food from the kitchen and refrigerator
